Santo Stefano beach: stretching from Fortezza Vecchia to the beach of Cala Caterina, with beautiful little beaches and rocks, it faces Santo Stefano Island.

Cala Caterina beach: it is a cove enclosed in the cliffs, with a clear sandy bottom. The deep seabed is characterised by an intense blue, and behind it, the Mediterranean bushes reach almost to the shore, adding shades of green to the strong blue tones of the water.

Cava Usai beach: a pebble beach, characterised by the presence of an imposing abandoned granite quarry.

Porto Giunco beach: also known as the "Beach of the Two Seas", because it divides the sea from the saltwater marsh of Notteri, home to fascinating pink flamingos. It is characterised by the pink hues of its fine sand; further on, at the foot of the Tower, small inlets open up, sheltered from the winds, protected by rocks and vegetation.

Simius beach: the continuation of the immense Porto Giunco, it has very white and fine sand and a transparent sea.One of the most beautiful beaches in Villasimius, it offers the spectacle of triggerfish swimming around bathers in the shoal that bears their name, just 50 metres from the shore.

Accu Is Traias beach: a cove where the vegetation reaches almost to the beach.

Punta Molentis beach: a small white sandy beach with a hill behind it, overlooking a crystal-clear sea, rich in reflections and variegated shades of blue, green and light blue (access is restricted).

Capo Carbonara Marine Protected Area

At Capo Carbonara, a Protected Marine Area has been established, a natural heritage management area almost 40 km long.
The area is protected to safeguard the biological diversity that characterises the seabed of this stretch of coastline from Capo Boi to Punta Porceddus.
In this stretch of sea, in fact, you can find all the fish species of the Mediterranean and it is possible to see plenty of dolphins.
Turtles also lay their eggs on the beach, a unique and striking spectacle.
In the area, you can visitCavoli Island, Serpentaria Island and the Variglioni islands.
One of the most famous sights is the "Madonna del Naufrago", a large granite statue that stands underwater.
From the shallows, you can admire wrecks of all kinds (ranging from Roman galleys to modern cargo ships). Permission is required to dive, but it is well worth it.
